zSpace required URLs, ports, and folders

This is a collection of Windows paths, network ports, and Internet URLs which are commonly used for zSpace or zSpace partner applications. System Administrators will need to make sure users have read access to all of the following locations and in some cases, write access.


zSpace authored applications installation location:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\zSpace\
  • C:\Program Files\zSpace\
  • C:\zSpace\EduServer   (Only zSpace EDU Server is installed here)

zSpace authored apps data storage:

  • C:\ProgramData\zSpace\
  • C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\zSpace\

zSpace System Software data storage:

  • C:\zSpace\

Cyber Science 3D uses the following folders:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\zSpace\
  • C:\ProgramData\CyberScience\
  • C:\Users\Public\Documents\Cyber Science Sessions

zSpace requires the following for licensing and updating applications

  • updates.zspace.com
  • wyday.com


zSpace EDU Server and Teacher Dashboard


  • 4000

EDU Server also uses Apple Bonjour to detect server connections which use port:

  • 5353
