By default, the zSpace 300 does not require a password. We have encountered a scenario where Windows will prompt you to change your password, even if there is not one set.
To resolve this:
- Right-click the Windows Start Menu
- Click Computer Management
- Then under System Tools expand Local Users and Groups and click Users
- Double-click the zSpace account and under general, check the box Password Never Expires
- Click Apply and you should no longer see the prompt
